  This guy came into my hospital room at union hospital while I was there. While there he asked if he could see my pump I was in the hospital regarding a work related issue, which hadn't been determined was a work related issue until later. While Dr. Alam was in and he was looking at my pump he dropped it on the floor and told me don't worry deductible is covered, deductible is covered cause you're staying in here. Had it been a personal injury as to why I was in there sure it would've been covered however that wasn't the case and this man still refuses to man up or cover the damages to which he caused. The pump worked even though it was badly cracked but after changing the battery it would of course shut off being that half of the threads were missing to the battery door. I would never choose to go to this doctor after the problems I've had because of his unprofessionalism and inability to take responsibility for something he has damaged. We don't need doctors like this here. I couldn't hardly understand him anyway!

  Keep in mind when scheduling a appointment that you will wait for at least an hour, usually more! I am currently in the office and have been waiting for 48 minutes. When I arrived I was the only car in the parking lot and only person in the office so what I am still waiting for is a mystery! I have always had to wait so it isn't a surprise. Dr. Alam is very difficult to understand and will make appointments for you with multiple doctors without telling you and be sure to check the medication that you are taking. He has prescribed medication for me but failed to write it on my chart. He will insist on seeing you every month as soon as he finds out that you have insurance!!
